For the better part of a decade, I have helped indie developers and small-to-medium app shops talk about their products, create marketing that doesn't suck, and learn how to work more effectively with their tech and as a team. I've done it mostly on an individual freelance basis, though, and recently I decided it's time to take the next step.
Bit & Pen is that step. I'm starting this company to formalize the services I offer and give them a home on the web. I've also assembled a small team of smashing folks with a particular set of skills that include everything from 3D animation to data analysis. I want to help app makers and tech companies talk about their products in a genuine, useful way, reach customers with ideas and content that matter, and build better products.
I also have a personal love of finding the right tools for the job and teaching others how to use them. The other half of my company is a 'tech coach' and consulting venture, where I want to help people and teams to find real solutions and get more out of the apps and devices they use.
If you need help with any of this or know someone who does, let's talk.
